Emmanuelle Arpin, professor at Université de Montréal, Amélie Quesnel-Vallée, professor at McGill University, both CIRANO researchers, and Lara Gautier, professor at Université de Montréal, co-author the book Québec: A Health System Profile, published by University Toronto Press.
This book provides a comprehensive overview of Québec's distinctive health care system, analysing its organizational structure, policy reforms, socio-political history, and trailblazing innovations in Canada’s health care landscape. It provides readers with invaluable insights and tools to navigate the complexities of ongoing health care policy challenges and to envision possible solutions forward for Québec’s health care system.
On September 23, the authors invite you to the launch of their book from 5pm to 7pm. Following an introduction to the “Provincial and Territorial Health System Profiles” series by University of Toronto professor Sara Allin, the three authors will present and discuss the conclusions of their book with André Picard, health columnist for The Globe and Mail.
The book will be available for sale at the event.
This event is organized in collaboration with the Centre de recherche en santé publique (CReSP) and McGill University.
